I'm not all that interested in getting into a
pissing match with Republicans over the death of Bin Laden. I just want my country back. The one that predated GW Bush. The one with habeas corpus and civil liberties. One that is not a perpetual war state. One that is not a security state. One that had Constitutional checks and balances. One that I don't have to question every waking moment whether I am getting the truth. I have a pre 9/11 mindset. I didn't lose my sanity nor allow myself to live a life centered around fear. I want to go home now. I hope I'm allowed to.

1. You can never go home again, Grasshopper.
The river you step out of can never be the same river you wade into later.

2. The un-rec fairies are out! K&R I AGREE big time. 9/11 and Osama
were the instigators of the crack down here in the U.S. of its citizens....will be interesting to see if TPTB talk to this point.

3. So do I, except I'd add we should never stop questioning if what we are told is the truth
pre 9/11 or not.

5. We should always assume we're not being told the truth. However, we should always ask
how is what we're being told going to affect us?

4. I, too, would like to return to Pre-PNAC America if we can't have an effective socialist state. nt

6. I said in another thread that I would be happier if Bush/Cheney & company were behind bars.
That would be an accomplishment worth celebrating.
