President Obama is considering taking bold steps very soon to shine sunlight on corporate political spending by government contractors.

But his action is not assured. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce last week pledged to fight the president’s proposal “though all available means.” Predictably, CEOs and right-wing pundits are lining up behind the Chamber.

Tell President Obama: Stand up to the Chamber and fight for disclosure.

Then please forward this message as widely as possible.

More than 15,000 have already signed the petition supporting the president’s draft executive order to require corporations that do business with the government to disclose their political spending.
