Rachel notes Pakistan's military and intelligence services seem "close" to terrorism.

Richard makes very interesting observations about how the mid-east media seemed to say "bin Laden's dead. And now the weather".

From what I gather, every car in and out of Abbotadad was stopped. No LEO or soldier ever looked in the back seat?

Additionally, bin Laden has had issues with kidney failure for some time. How did he fly under the radar while dealing with a serious health issue? Dialysis machines aren't exactly portable.

Finally, though I get Richard Engel's point, there are, at least, a few good reasons for the ME media to minimize this news:

1) Attempting to prevent massive demonstrations, violence and attacks.
2) Marginalizing his message (and his entire life) to discredit fundamentalist Muslims.
3) Distancing the Pakistani govt. from the deed, and their military from having sheltered OBL.
