Something odd - Reason why FauxNews is pushing so hard for release of photo?
Has anyone else picked up on the strange drive of places like FauxNews in the demand for the picture of bin Laden? Their screaming headline on the net is, "Where's The Photo?"

It's almost like there is an ulterior motive behind their asking.

5. I can dig up a shitload of threads from DU saying publish all the Abu Ghraib photos
Granted that was in part to expose a coverup, but the courts had the evidence and everyone could have been convicted without the pentagon releasing everything.

Pretty much the same thing....

I just want the picture for instances when idiots in the dungeon bring up more kooky conspiracies.

13. that was to expose a crime and get public to support the outrage of a crime. this is like birther
the world acknowledges osama dead. papers, dna ect... can be further evidence. this is the same as birthers demanding a long form

imo

i certainly see what you and others saying

in this case though i really believe "an argument can be made" not publicizing the photos

11. Republicans are crying out for death porn...
Isn't very surprising, really. Trophies... exactly right... great white hunters posing next to heads on pikes.

3. They need the photo so they can parse over it like the birth certificate.
They're desperate for a new conspiracy.

16. What's that old saying about protesting too much?
Because that is sort of what they are doing. There just seems something a bit off about it.

Sure, all the traditional answers are known, but their request seems to be.....well, hate to type the word, but, "overkill".

9. My Repube coworkers are already bashing Obama for saying he will release the photo.
I just think they'll paint Obama as heartless and say that he violated Muslim law or something by publishing a death photo. They're really grasping at any small part of this they can use as a negative for President Obama because they know their hopes for 2012 were dashed completely on Sunday night.

They get off on death. And lies. And cruelty. And stupidity.
