Obama Approval Jumps to 56%

A new Washington Post/Pew Research poll conducted last night finds 56% of Americas say they approve of the way Obama is handling his job as president, an increase of nine points over April polls. It's the highest approval rating for the president in either poll since 2009.

However, the poll also finds virtually no movement in Obama's numbers when it comes to handling the economy.
