On the discussion of due process and Bin Laden

My comments on Bin Laden, and the comment on the symbol of what he was as reported may or may not be the same things.

My comments are on the symbol as it is created, and what that symbol means to most in the USA, and that has been tried.

The person, who knows.

But the meaning behind the term, perpetual war, use of fear as a weapon, and wanting people to be afraid by coercion, was given due process long ago.

And nobody has argued against it accept by argument of short term effectiveness, not of basis of right and wrong. And even in the effectiveness argument, nobody countered the point that the short term results lead to needing to remove cultural memory to have an effect, and dumb down people in many ways, or the simple fact that it is wrong, and means society can never get better. Nobody has argued against most of the points. So the symbol of rule by fear, regardless of who does it was found unjust.

Hence, I am due beer and travel money, and many experiences.

Note the symbol of Bin Laden is not the same thing as the person. For instance it would include a group that thinks the use of fear is how to control a population. And it would include those that use coercion.

Both in the USA, and as reported to USA in the arab world, that is the symbol commented on, when most in the USA comment on Osama Bin Laden.
