1. Bush took advantage of a bad situation in order to pad the wallets of his corporate
buds, no he has no place at ground zero, especially after he ignored the August 6th pdb.

2. Yes
But I think it would have been fine if both W and Clinton were invited since all three administrations have been involved.

3. No
He should have accepted the gracious offer and stood there like a man. But I'm sure he feels like the idiot asshat murderer he is and didn't want to be anywhere near there. There is nothing more important than his being there, so naturally, he won't be.

11. I agree. I never agreed with Bush Policies but the Bush Family
are classy. He would believe that Pres. Obama should
have the moment. The Sr. Bush would never criticize
another Pres.

5. The right thing was to ask him
and the right thing was that he declined. One of those situations.

The Chimperor seems to be hiding out as much as OBL these days. Difference is, he gets away with his criminal acts.

7. I know I am in the extreme minority here
but I have lived a life as an extreme minority.

I think Obamas gesture was gracious and ingenious. It also elevated him above politician and into statesman. He is transcending politics and party and regarding Bush as an equal. In a way, he is saying, "I understand now." And for Bush to accept is also a good thing. It seals Obamas second term for that simple gesture will bring him a lot of votes. "If G.W. sees him as an equal, who and I to judge?"

Maybe because I am an outsider to US politics, I see elections as a means to get someone there but once elected, they serve all the people. Allow Obama to not only be a good president but rise to a great president for all the world. Not just the progressive dems.

9. What a beautiul post. Thank you. And I agree.
Every time I feel a bit disappointed with him or frustrated by a decision or how long it's taking to get things done, he does something really amazing that reminds me just how brilliant he is. Also of how lucky we are, that we have this man, at this time in our history, as our president.

17. Actually, I did answer it.
Once Obama signs into the same battle, he lost any right to go after Bush for anything. Can you hateful party-mongers understand this? I truly thing the President did and for that reason, I love this man!
