Repubs are afraid Obama will release photo...
just before the election.

Let them develop their conspiracy theory, get the Teabaggers all worked up, tell people there is no photo of Osama bin Laden, then at the last moment, release it to the public.

That would be so political.

1. Kind of like George Bush was going to release the frozen body before elections...
I was convinced that was the Rovian plan. Turns out they loved bin Laden on the loose much more because they could depend on frequent terror terror terror videos to help them out.

2. Chalk up another person to the
Bush is a genius camp. Not unlike it was Bush that brought down the WTC as part of plan to control us.
Now we have him keeping OBL alive as a foil.

I still just think he was smart enough to do the right things to catch Usama.

4. I don't think bush took down the wtc. definitely not smart enough to pull that
off. He certainly used it to his advantage though. They used it to take rights away and invade iraq. But i do believe that they didn't really look for him that hard. That doesn't take much imagination.... as long as he was out there, he was a convenient boogey man to bring up every time anyone complained about wiretapping or other rights taken away. Personally, while i think his death may be a blow for al quaida, they have already been kind of on their own anyway. And even if they don't have a shrine to go to visit, they will still treat him as a martyr. We are still doing the things that created this monster in the first place

10. Man, you are new here...
Back around 2004 there were many here, including myself who thought that the Bush administration had OBL on ice, which is what i was referencing. Not that we thought GWB was a genius. It turns out that they probably didn't try to hard to catch and it benefited their War on Terra propaganda to have him on the loose. OBL tapes were released almost as if on cue whenever the Bush administration started to go into a negative spin and pumped up the fear factor across the nation. It was a beautiful racket.

3. i agree with you. he was more useful alive and out there plotting to get us.
attack us whenever convenient for them. And one could say that he was worth more to pakistan free too.... We have been giving them how much a year? $1 BILLION dollars!! As long as they didn't find him, they were still getting that money. There are a lot of people for whom bin laden was useful. I have long thought that bush et all didn't want him caught.

11. they needed him
If you campaign that only you can keep the world safe from the boogeyman, it is a real problem for your campaign when he's gone.

7. That would be unfair and unAmerican ...
... it would just prove he was a Kenyan all along.

Fake birth certificate, fake photo of Osama.

Produce that body, Mr President. Sarah will beat it like a halibut.

:hi:

Trump/Beck 2012. Change we can be amazed by.

9. The GOTB Is Still Scrambling...
If President Obama were the cynical politial animal the previous rushpublican regimes were they would have hinted that they had bin Laden just before the election and then let him slip away to be brought back 4 years later. As long as he was on the loose there was that visceral reason for the "War on Terror" and worth political gold. Those who are attempting to throw credit at boooosh for what's happened are again whistling past the graveyard as bin Laden was a bonanza for the massive power grab and spending that followed 9/11. This game is now over. Surely Rudeee is speechless...literally.

The debunking and tin foil has been flying hard and heavy on the other side of the sandbox since the first hint of bin Laden's demise became known and will only increase. Here's where the birfers and the truthers meet and each will take comfort in the other. It's a new bright shiny toy the corporate media will also gladly chase and thus the constant drum beat for more and more pictures and disclosures. We're already seeing a cottage industry in bogus bin Laden death pictures...many tied to spyware and malware. Just like with the BC, the corporate media (led by Faux and hate radio) will demand more proof that bin Laden's been dirt napped and the administration will have to release not just the death pictures but the sea burial and even the cameras on the Seals as they storm the compound.

Fools they are as with each release it will remind people who was the Commander in Chief when this raid took place...

Cheers...

12. Obama should release a week before the Presidential election. But of course he's too classy to do
that.
