Dem lawmaker: GOP wants to put ‘big government in your bedroom

Rep. Jackie Speier (D-CA) said Wednesday that H.R. 3, the GOP’s “No Taxpayer Funding For Abortion Act“, would put “big government in your bedroom.”

“This is about whether we should use the tax code as a moral club to impose the religious views of a few members of Congress on the entire nation.”
