Tina Fey returns to SNL to spoof Sarah Palin at RNC debate

Appearing on Saturday Night Live, Tina Fey reprised her role as Sarah Palin for an RNC debate with the potential candidates that did not attend Fox News� actual debate last week.

Also making an appearance were other potential Republican candidates who have not officially announced. Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney was played by Jason Sudeikis and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich was played by Bobby Moynihan.

Darrell Hammond returned to SNL to play Donald Trump.

3. Most comedy troupes have that problem...

...Monty Python drove me crazy with that failing. An utterly brilliant sketch, gone on too long, with no concept of how to end it.

It does serve to demonstrate the genius of the first 3 seasons of SNL. Talent, excellent writing, and tight direction served to keep that particular comedy failing under control.
