If We Can't Care About Muslims, Let's At Least Care About Ourselves

The U.S. has killed a monster it helped to create.

But eventually the U.S. will just have to stop brutalizing Muslims. Only then might the U.S. have an actual national security policy. Only then might the U.S. have enough money to take care of its citizens. Only then might Muslims (and others living in predominantly Muslim countries) have a chance of living in freedom.

4. It's their choice to live the way they live. they've been oppressed for
over a millennium by their Caliphs and Imams teaching fundamentalist theology in their religion.

The only Muslim states prospering (without oil) is Turkey. And they are adamantly secularist.
