So the ReTHUG Iowa fat cats headed to Jersey
last week to beg that moron Christie to run against Obama.
Apparently these Republican campaign contributors are scared shitless after last week.

<snip>
Some of Iowa's top Republican campaign contributors, unhappy with their choices in the developing presidential field, are venturing to New Jersey in hopes they can persuade first-term Gov. Chris Christie to run. The entreaty is the latest sign of dissatisfaction within the GOP over the crop of candidates competing for the chance to run against President Barack Obama in 2012.

Bruce Rastetter, an Iowa energy company executive, and a half-dozen other prominent Iowa GOP donors sought the meeting with Christie, the governor's chief political adviser, Mike DuHaime, told The Associated Press. The get-together is set for the governor's mansion in Princeton, N.J., on May 31.

The meeting speaks to what some Republicans nationally say is a lack of enthusiasm about the emerging roster of contenders. It's also unusual because candidates typically court Iowans, who get the first say in presidential nominating contests, and not the other way around.

5. The eventual ticket will either be
Romney/Christie (or possibly Rubio)

or Huntsman/Christie (or possibly Rubio)

Just my opinion. Though Mormon, neither Romney nor Huntsman is a Winger, but will need a pit bull Teabagger to balance the ticket.

The BIG money will go to Romney or Huntsman to steer the party back to some sort of middle, but the Winger aspect is needed for the excitement and the GOTV.

Romney or Huntsman will have a tough go of it, but I think one of them will prevail due to the splintering of the Teabagger/Libertarian factions among others of the hateful and hate filled modern Repub. party.

Walker is already a has been says this Wisconsinite.

6. This Jersey Girl says Christie is not a teabagger
Some teabaggers love him but he had a teabagger opponent in his primary (Steve Lonegan).

I'll agree with you about Walker, but having just returned from Wisconsin, I saw a lot of Walker for president signs too.

7. Perhaps those signs were by people
who want him OUT of here. Oh, yeah, probably not, but I certainly do, but not at the expense of our nation.

Ultimately, he is a small cheese bit, useful to the Kochs in the region, but not going anywhere else, successfully.
