Conservatism is 100% FEAR based. Conservatives live by the saying "out of sight out of mind". They don't want to know about the problems in the world, they don't want to know that cutting peoples benefits or pensions may literally lead to death, homelessness, children and families going to sleep hungry without a nutritious meal, etc. They don't want to believe that mere mortals like us could actually reap devastation on something as huge (and flat) as the Earth, they don't want to hear about how broken our healthcare system is, ("best in the world!" uh, no, try 37th) that 50,000 anonymous people die every year JUST because they put profits over humanity and, "oh well, thats how the capitalist system works in America, life isn't fair, what are you a socialist?!" They don't want to know what happens to the babies they force the mothers to keep even though they may be homeless, they don't give a fuck about THAT baby, because if they did they wouldn't spend every waking hour trying to pass legislation that will give that child the hardest fucking life imaginable, they don't want to hear shit about the family whose unemployment benefits get taken away ("oops, a foreclosure? probably just a slacker, not the banks fault"), or what happens financially to people with pre-existing conditions. They don't care about the repercussions throughout society that their fascist legislation leads to. They don't care about its ripple effects. Because in reality, republicans/conservatives don't really want a smaller Govt, they just want a smaller population...For "pro-life" republicans, human life is cheap.

All these assaults by the GOP republiCons are assaults on the working people. The middle class people. The working poor. And the most vulnerable amongst us in society. They have become so transparent in their effort to fuck over our citizens that I seriously believe the only people that still vote republican are 1-The top 2% and 2-Everyone else who has not yet taken the next fucking evolutionary step in the new Enlightenment that is occurring in our society at this present time. They remain blind and ignorant. Everything about conservatism leads back to FEAR, from fear of other religions/nationalities, to fear of an invisible man in the sky, to fear of change and progression, to fear of the Govt, to fear of not being raptured, to a fear of knowledge and education, fear of facts, to fear of climate change, to fear of workers rights cutting into their profits ("Strike?! You're all FIRED!, NO you can't have a raise to match cost of living!") to just the basic fear of genuinely confronting challenges and having to use rational thinking for problem solving. FEAR FEAR FEAR! NEVER hope. No matter what they do as citizens or try to legislate as politicians, everything they do is based on one common principle: FEAR. And they sell it real cheap to their mindless drones and the weak minded/gullible amongst us. Conservatism uses FEAR to prey on our citizens. They are the Anti-Hope. They are the Swamp of Sadness in the Never Ending Story, just slowly devouring peoples hopes of a better future and replacing it with misguided outrage. They hypocritically run for GOVT. OFFICE while telling their audience "We musn't let Govt get TOO big", they instill deficit fear into the hearts of their voters while waging trillion dollar wars on every continent, giving tax breaks to people who never saw a recession in their lives, then when the money runs out they raid YOUR fucking bank accounts while trying to lock us down in a police state, because "we love America and we're trying to protect your safety, so don't mind if we videotape you on every corner while tapping your phone calls and internet connection, what free speech?!!!" etc bullshit nonsense, you guys know what I'm talking about. They're just plain evil, we are a society built on the collective and they live in a "fuck you I'm out for myself" society.

If Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh aren't grounding up the chop meat, and FOX news isn't forcibly inserting it down their throats 24 hours a day 7 days a week, then it doesn't exist. Logic, facts, and reasoning have no place inside their hearts. And thats why they love George Bush so much, because Bush was never seen, Bush never came on TV to address the issues America REALLY faced, NO, Bush would emerge from his dungeon once every 6 months and just mumble something about "evil-doers, fear, alert level orange, blah blah, blah" and then re-enter his dungeon where no one knew what the fuck he was doing or was up to. (I'm pretty sure he spent most days not even changing out of his pajamas and drinking Jim Beam). It was either that or he was clearing brush while on vacation or embarrassing the US while visiting some foreign country. This guy LITERALLY spent more time at his own home than his job at the WhiteHouse. And thats what it really all comes down to, these conservatives today are just the same idiots who never gave a shit about America before because they never KNEW shit about America before. They never heard about the problems America faced because America didn't have a voice for the entire last decade. When we did have a voice we would accused of being un-patriotic or blinded by our ideology, any hint of being against Bush's wars, policies, etc. led to being called "America-hatin' communists!". All these people give a shit about when it came time to vote is based on one thing: FEAR. Which candidate is white, christian, republican, "pro-life", pro-gun, war monger.......WHY???.....

Let me just say, I am actually embarrassed to call them my fellow countrymen. They are why we are viewed the way we are by many other countries, no matter how many cures we find or technological breakthroughs we make, all it takes is one George Bush, Sarah Palin, Donald Trump, Rush Limbaugh to land us right back at square one in the eyes of the world. The one thing they fear the most? TRUTH. Like I said, sometimes I feel like we have taken one giant mental evolutionary step and we're just waiting for the rest to catch up. We strive for truth and progress while they settle for blind faith and fear. That being said, if I saw one of them get hit by a car or injured while in my presence I would still rush over to them and try to save their life, I would even rip the shirt off my back and use it as a tourniquet for their gaping wound. Thats why we're better than them.....We choose hope over fear, every time.

I've lately come to believe that repigs and other lizard-brains have been brainwashed into thinking of politics--and the life of our nation--as a sporting event, where they sit in their plush sofas and yell at the tv just as they do while watching football games. I'm quite serious. It's become a standard of "we must win," even if "we" doesn't include them, just as a sports event doesn't include anyone who's not actually playing. The sports fan develops some connection, however inane, to the team, and will yell and scream at "their" team's opponent, even going as far as devaluing them and denying their humanity to the point of somehow wanting them eliminated entirely. And, sometimes, becoming violent to the point of endangering another's life, all over a game.

I find it interesting how the RW propagandists zero in on someone on the left to demonize their name so that every time their listeners hear it they start foaming at the mouth. Obama is the best example of course. They just relentlessly pound on his name day and nite

Today, the great one was discussing Mitch Daniels who sez cons need to change in order to get the "Low information voters" which to me would translate to anyone that watches Faux and listens to Limbaugh. To them, it's people that watch ESPN and MTV.

Limbaugh dismissed that by saying that conservatives are the most compassionate people in America and love EVERYONE! This is how twisted these fucks are. I think in my heart of hearts they somehow believe this.

The good news is, they're in trouble and they know it. Reality maybe be catching up with those that voted the new majority in to office.

They have a "Delusional Sense of Self-Entitlement" that allows them to ignore and not process anything they don't wish to examine with an added belief that they have the right to do anything they desire.

Some could claim that it is not their fault and that it truly is a genetic defect in 50% of our population.

I disagree, I feel is is primarily derived from Nurture rather than Nature...they are trained this way by their family, friends, Religious indoctrination and professional peers.

The problem with this, is that without professional therapy or a serious debilitating shock to their reality, they will always believe in their Sense of Self-Entitlement to do whatever they please ignoring future consequences or ramifications to others.
