Andrew Breitbart Attacks Professors
The University of Missouri St. Louis may garner the reputation as a hostile place to work and learn.

Such is the fallout from the character assassination of two labor studies instructors, Judy Ancel and Don Giljum, by video con artist Andrew Breitbart.

Breitbart, who conducted previous similar hit jobs on others, including civil rights activist and U.S. Agriculture Department official Shirley Sherrod, released highly edited videos of the instructors supposedly advocating violent tactics.

Their actual classroom discussions, a survey of the undoctored tapes showed, were the exact opposite.

The Breitbart videos have been debunked by many sources and have been taken down by YouTube.

But the damage from the hit job remains.

A firestorm occurred at the two universities involved, but the reactions were markedly different.

The University of Missouri Kansas City, where Ancel is director of the Institute for Labor Studies, immediately reviewed the tapes and saw the alterations Breitbart had made.

In an April 28 statement, UMKC Provost Gail Hacket said it was "clear" that the instructors were depicted "in an inaccurate and distorted manner by taking their statements out of context and reordering the sequence in which those statements were actually made so as to change their meaning."

4. America should sue Breitbart
for us having to deal with his shit. He is nothing but a con man...same goes for that loser James O'Keefe. It only shows you how much more rationality our side has when conservative "journalists" have to resort to lying to get people to believe them

3. The guy is a naked fraud and he brings shame to any media
outlet that airs his lies. It is truly stunning how many in the media appear to have zero problem with putting this man on the teevee.

6. Tells You A Lot Of How Corrupt The Corporate Media Is...
After his sliming of ACORN...along with the orchestrated hit on the group...which was shown to be not only a fraud but a poorly produced one, the corporate media should have laughed this loser off the stage. Instead they can't get enough of this shitstain's latest slander and give him a platform to tell his lies before its proven to be yet another fraud. If the corporate media had any scrupples or ethics, we'd never be hearing about this oxygen thief.

On the other hand, the more this scumbag is exposed, the more his antics and attitude make him look like a bigger asshole than he already is (hard as that may seem)...

12. They Provide Manipulated News...
...what the corporate media craves. It generates hours of talking heads and manufactured "outrage" that fits in nicely between commercial for big oil and big pharma. It requires little of the "reporter" as the talking points do all the real talking and the "think tanks" are glad to send an army of "experts" to spread the manure far and wide.

The beltway media lives in its own bubble of its own self importance and thinks we're stupid. Damn thing is, they're right...

10. As Stephen Colbert once said...
Facts have a well-known liberal bias. Conservatives desperate to hear confirmation that the world really is how Limbaugh, Beck, and all the other right-wing blowhards tell them it is, pounce on Breitbart's videos because they tell them what they want to hear.
