Idaho tells Montana drivers: Keep your legal medical marijuana out of our state
Source: Associated Press

Eastern Idaho police say a growing number of Montana motorists pulled over for speeding are also being charged for having marijuana in their vehicles.

Many of the Montana drivers charged in recent weeks have valid Montana permits to possess marijuana for medical reasons.

But Idaho authorities say the right for someone to possess marijuana for medical reasons in Montana doesn’t apply in the Gem State.

... Fremont County Sheriff Department Chief Deputy Kurt Hillman says speeding or other traffic violations give deputies opportunity to look for other violations of the law.

2. Seriously.
I would hope a person would have the sense not to speed with weed in their car.

3. Keep your weed in an opaque sealed container in your trunk.
Drive safely, but if you do get pulled over, be polite. If the cop asks to search your car, politely but firmly say "Officer, I know you're just doing your job, but I don't consent to searches."

The plain view pretext doesn't apply to the trunk - they can't search that w/o a warrant or your consent.

6. Wait a second! Stoners driving fast???
:wtf:

I suppose they could have been hurrying to the nearest convenience store to pick up a couple of bags of cheese doodles.
