Shuster says Jeb trying to clear GOP field...
So he can be the republicon nominee in 2012. He's guest hosting the Bill Press Show. Says that the insults about the current lame field comes from Jeb partisans who want to see him take on Pres Obama.

Hey Jeb: go for it. I'd love to see you lose, muthafucka.

6. These are the Just Say Yes! Republicans.
Yes to theft. (Jeb's wife is nothing compared to Halliburton and his Big Education connections.)

Yes to drinking.

Yes to stalking. (Jeb's sons are fine citizens)

Yes to drugs (how did his daughter's rehab work out?)

Yes to spending the country into bankruptcy.

Yes to profligate sex. (Doesn't Jeb hand out jobs to girlfriends?)

17. Don't forget war.
If a Republican president is elected the first thing they will do is create conditions favorable to starting a new war. This new war will most likely be against Iran or Pakistan.

27. Or against Cuba
Jeb has strong supporters in the Miami Cuban exile community -- and with Castro fading out of the picture, this may be their last chance to move back in and re-steal everything they lost in 1959.

There'll be serious risks in that area over the next few years no matter who's president, but a Jeb presidency would make trouble a sure thing.

It never crossed my mind.

Yeah, we can "free" Cuba to make it safe for the Mafia and multinational corporations to come in and ruin their country. It will do their coral reefs a world of good to embrace free market capitalism.

All they have to do is steal Ohio and Florida. That mechanism is already in place. Then we can start a war with Iran! Oh, joy!

9. I love David Shuster, but he's wong on this one
Being the "smart brother", Jeb Bush knows that it will be difficult to beat Obama in '12. To avoid being labeled a loser (think Rick Santorum ), Jeb will hold out for 2016 when his chances of winning are greatly increased.

19. Obama's approval among hispanics
is below 50%. Jeb is married to a hispanic wife. Jeb can beat Obama with help from the election shenanigans that the GOP always engages in.

29. Jeb's hispanic wife is not an asset to his candidacy
She and his children have past legal issues which the media and his opponents will surely highlight, to his detriment.
Jeb will not run in 2012 with good reason and he knows 2016 will be his best shot, if he has any chance at all to be elected POTUS.

that he will not be elected one day. I have little faith in fairness. A hugely unfair media plus outright election fraud can do the trick.

Which brings around the question, who is on deck to run for the Democrats in '16?

13. Where would be the cries (as were in 2008) about
"Oh, crap. Almost every election I've been involved in was 'Bush, Clinton, Bush, Clinton ...'"???

But since it's a Repuke Bush running, and they've had "Barack Obama", then the cries will not happen ...

14. I'd say it's more likely that Jeb is counting on the taint that 2012 will surely leave
on all the GOP candidates so he can ride in on his white horse in 2016.

We might as well have kings if we allow three people from the same family (controlled by the same interests) rule over us. I guess they won't stop until the U.S. is a third world country.

31. A foolish comment...
...However week the GOP field is, a new candidate isn't going to make inroads if he hasn't laid the groundwork by building a field team, starting to raise money (through a PAC if not an exploratory committee) and getting out to Iowa and New Hampshire to start building links with local Party people. Jeb is politically astute enough to know he shouldn't risk his future with a futile. last-minute Presidential bid.

32. I think Jeb will be the nominee
People can't get too over-confident because he could win too. About 40% of voters will vote for whoever the GOP nominations. If the economy is getting worse and gas prices are high, anything can happen. People don't necessarily vote rationally when they are suffering.

36. This entire evil family should be extirpated root and branch
from the public life of this nation. No Bush within six degrees of consanguinity of Prescott (Heil Thyssen!) Bush should be allowed to run for any public office higher than city council for the next hundred years.

The Bush family is to modern America what the Borgias were to Renaissance Italy: a boundless plague of evil, theft and utter corruption.
