1. His work is beautifully done
although given the current prejudicial climate against Muslims, that Mosque looks just a little creepy with the barrels, the guns, and all the bullets. It is a beautiful object, though.

One of my favorite weaving tools is a threading hook made with a length of shaped steel fitted into a 40 calibre cartridge. Not only is it swords to plowshares, it's the perfect length and weight.

3. I think his Cathedral Reliquary is on display at the De Young Museum in San Francisco
If not, I saw something incredibly similar there.
