68% to 32% - It's Great to Finally Have Good News!
We had a special election here in Maine to fill a vacated State Senate seat (guy had to go to CA to find a job)! Anyway, in a district that has two rich communities, the Dem won 68 to 32! (To our classy governor in his own words: Kiss My Butt!

Tea Party/Heritage Ctr./Repubs poured lots of money into this (apparently the people were swamped with calls and mailers)and yet only got 32%. Actually, for all the money these groups (and the Koch bros) poured into the governor election, the idiot only got 38% of the vote (the Dem and Indep. divided up the rest).

Also---stuff flying here about our Sen. Olympia Snowe. Her corrupt husband (a former governor here)has basically ripped loads off the government in some "education" scam. Opponent for the primary (i.e., Teabagger), wants her to resign. If she gets taken out, a Dem candidate will walk to victory!!!

2. Great news!
This is just the beginning of a huge trend. The Repukes thought they were golden. They misread and/or reinterpreted the election results... uh-oh!

4. Exactly
I wonder if the GOP will be on television talking about how "The People Spoke" when they get their asses handed to them in 2012...

I think back to November 2010 as I watched the elections and was literally sick to my stomach in the bad, knowing what was being voted in and what would they would try to do and un-do. I'm thankful that America is waking up before they have the chance to destroy our country.

Shine on,
Annette

8. They just forgot that they cheated to win. I wonder if we will have
large scale cheating again? If not, what has changed to stop it?
