42 Repub freshmen want President Obama to call off the dogs...
They are getting lambasted back home for their vote on the Ryan bill to destroy Medicare. They want the Democrats to stop reminding the voters about their votes. They are now asking President Obama to intervene.

Why did they not think of that before they cast their vote. They let their weasel leadership twist their arms into voting for that piece of crap and now they are sorry. Well, votes have consequences. If they are so weak and dependent, perhaps they shouldn't be in Congress in the first place. We need people that are able to think for themselves, not puppets for their Party. Go to hell, suckers!

39. what kind of idiot do you have to be to believe that will happen?
did they call off their stupid ads etc during their campaigns? It sort of doesn't cast a good light on Obama's intestinal fortitude that they thought he would do it. Now that he's stepping up more they will find a new resolve. I hope. :} That would be the list I would use to formulate campaign strategies to end their careers. They just revealed major weaknesses.

What do they expect him to do? Forbid Dems to speak? Like they would just stop. Our party is not in lockstep and does not follow orders mindlessly.

Repugs are so small minded. They think everyone acts like they do.

So they're getting castigated by their constituents - probably those who didn't want them in office to begin with? Tough shit, crybabies - this goes with the territory if you're a Congressional rep.

As a Democrat once said, if you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.

33. Actually, I think that Obama may have encouraged them to think
Democrats would support cutting Medicare.

The plan Republicans propose sounds rather suspiciously like Obama's health care reform for the rest of the population.

Obama may have killed Bin Laden, but he is still a Republican in sheep's clothing on economic issues -- especially Wall Street, foreclosures and healthcare.

Tell them "I'll think about it...if you give me a reason to think about it. Let's talk again in a few months, and we'll see what your voting record looks like."

If they balk, they'd have done it anyway, and if there's cooperation, guess who gets credit for making bipartisanship work?

Of course, it probably won't be over the things I think are most important, but undercutting the Republican lockstep voting bloc is important all on its own.

If President Obama had asked them to stop their attacking during the past 2 years?

I don't think so.

Ignorant cry babies had NO idea how brutal politics could be - when the tables are turned on them.

GO DEMOCRATS, GOOOOO!!!!!

Take their whining and add it to the message you are delivering AND THAT WE HEAR.

We have been waiting for the Democrat Congressmen to frame their message, the silent majority gets it and are silent no more. Now is the time to get stronger and more on message, and activate the volunteers. There is no need for mercy when you are delivering the TRUTH.

Could this be the beginnings of the wave that will be 2012???

Great way to start my day :D

...Democrats did not send political operatives to town hall meetings. As hard as it is for Repigs to comprehend, most of the public ie: voters, do not like their assinine plan to destroy Medicare.

Blaming Democrats for causing this reveals the huge blind spot the Pigs have and that is that the public largely hates their Ayn Randian policies - and I suspect many of those members of the public are NOT Democrats.

EDIT: In other words, they brought this on themselves. Now, they're whining for Democrats to make it stop.

34. Right now, as soon as you approach the Medicare age,
you are barraged with ads for the various Medicare Advantage Plans. They are all very expensive. Most cost at least $200 - $300 per month. If you stop to think that Social Security on the average pays less than $1200 per month, then you realize that could easily be a fourth of a senior's monthly income in many cases.

And Republicans want to force very senior into a plan like that with no alternative. No way. We seniors would simply die if they did that to us. And most of us would die on the dole in smelly nursing homes at government expense.

The Republican plan would end up costing the government more than it would save.

Test it on THEM first. Take away their publicly-funded health care and their publicly-funded retirement, and cut their pay in half. Make them rely on the same programs the rest of us do. (Social Security, Medicare)

Make THEM eat this Medicare dog food they want to foist on the elderly public - test it on them first.

Bet we'd see much more sane legislation coming out of these jackasses then.

They have to be planted democrats. Right? 'Cause voters who voted for a teabagger will luvs them forever and ever no matter how many times the bagger lies to them and screws them over. (Fox News promised they were completely brainwashed, after all).

87. What About Support For the Oil Subsidies?
I can't believe the Republicans can continue to support the big oil company subsidies and they are not worried about their political futures. Both anti-Medicare and oil subsidies are anti-American and the Congress critters need to pay if they sell out the taxpayers.

114. Crying
We have raised a generation of people who refuse to take responsibility for their own actions. They blame others and want others to let them have their way. They are now of age and 42 of them are in Congress. They want their own way, to force their own ideas on people. They are selfish, narcissistic and people are of no concern to them. Money is all they are interested in and that they have plenty. They almost never face the consequences of their actions and when the do they want someone else to take the blame and get them out of trouble. We are seeing the consequences of our child rearing practices over the last 30 years and we elected them to Congress. Lets give some more kids gold stars in class so they won't get their feelings hurt instead of giving rewards for accomplishments.
