They shouldn't get any at all. If we're going to subsidize energy it should be sustainable energy.

2. But,but, they put *all* of their profits back into searching for new deposits and
developing safer drilling and refining technologies, not to mention investing in small businesses. That's what their ad campaign tells me...

I suppose their shareholders invest as an altruistic exercise.
