With all the worries and woes that afflict us as we endlessly plod toward death
Edited on Thu May-12-11 06:58 PM by WCGreen
and the great oblivion that gets us all...

Why in the fuck are so many people worried how people fuck...

Seriously, wouldn't it be better to bring a little joy into the world that is at hand for the overwhelming number of people instead of nagging us that there is a right way and a wrong way to seek pleasure?

I just don't get how anyone could be harmed or get so freaking upset because two consenting adults choose a different way to play with their bits and pieces than they do...

1. I don't get it either......
frankly, I don't think God would give you something to promote well-being and happiness and tell you that you can't play.

I'm obviously not the one to give you an answer!

3. Correction - not endlessly. Eventually we all get there.
Some of us take a little longer than others. And some of us have more fun on the way.

4. Its all about Buddha and the bowl of rice.
Buddha was starving himself with other ascetics as he had done for ages when a maiden brought him a bowl of rice. He ate the food and the others caught him in the act. "Look at Siddartha! He loves opulence!" He was ostracized for the pleasure he had partaken in the others dared not partake in.

Some people have oppressive faith structures, and when they see people taking part in a pleasure they want but deprive themselves of they must go on the attack.

6. Mencken's definition of "puritanism": the haunting fear that someone, somewhere, is having fun
It's a world of killjoys, but mercifully there are enough to more or less keep them at bay.

7. I think the answer lies in your question.
With all the worries that afflict us, there is little we can control in this world. So they try to control what they can.

10. Everyone has their own set of priorities. Some people are really afraid
that the salami won't be found. You have to understand that everyone has different motivations.
