During the 2008 Debates,
Then Senator Obama, called, then Senator Clinton's, policies Republican Lite. Since taking office, now President Obama, has since adopted, then Senator Clinton's, positions.

This isn't about rehashing the primaries.

This is about Obama's leadership since becoming president.

So here's my question: If he considered, then Senator Clinton's, policies Republican Lite, what does that make his current policies since he has adopted many of them since taking office?

1. "This isn't about rehashing the primaries."
Lame flamebait. Failure.

2. It's not "flamebait", it's a serious question. I agreed with his statement then, my question is why
has he adopted her policies if he considered them "Republican Lite"?

4. Which policies? Which positions? There are hundreds of them .....
and I'm pretty sure Obama has not adopted the majority of Hillary's.

Please list each one with an Obama quote included regarding Obama's position on such policy/position at the time of the 2008 campaign.

5. You can't just claim Obama has adopted Clinton's policies
You've got to illustrate it.

List a policy Clinton promoted that Obama opposed, then show an example, properly sourced, of how Obama has adopted that policy.

Repeat this process, say, uhm...three times. How about that? Three times isn't too difficult.

Do that, then ask for a response.

8. So I have noticed. Everyone seems to forget about individual mandates or how Obama, after Hillary
dropped out, switched his position on economics and swept up Hillary's economic team and adopted the Rubinomic theory.

12. I have an honest answer.
You know why Al Gore wasn't President? Because the election was stolen from him.

You know why John Kerry wasn't President? Because the election was stolen from him.

You know why President Obama is President and is going to be reelected with the largest electoral victory in 192 years? Because whatever his personal convictions, he knew he had to assume an annoyingly centrist political position in order to prevent his elections from coming close enough to steal.

If you want to talk honestly about today's politics, then you need to honestly address the undeniable fact that our democracy is corrupted to its very core, and probably always has been that way.

15. I have no doubt that it will be a lot closer than it actually is.
But you can't steal more than about ten percent of the votes without the statisitians taking notice. (How're those 2004 Ohio exit polls working out for you guys? Figure it out yet?).

So if a Democrat wins by 20 percent, that candidate still has a chance of actually being elected. Virtually all of the political positions that President Obama takes that progressives disagree with are taken with that unfortunate reality in mind. That's why he's going to clean up in the next election and then, maybe, we'll have a chance to see what he really wants to do.

11. Back then, he had a different team of varied advisors.
When he took office, he traded just about all of it in for Clintonites. So the policy positions would reflect that (change with the change).

14. Too bad it's not change I can believe in. During the early primary season, Obama understood and had
the right team to take care of our economic problems, but by taking on team Rubin, we've been reduced to dragging out the Great Depression II.
