IF Navy SEALs found porn at bin Laden's place, his jihadist sheepdog followers MUST denounce him.
Here are the two options I see, if there was a legitimate porn stash:

1). "Hi, we are jihadist sheepdog followers of Osama bin Laden who now must remove our noses from his dead ass because he had a porn stash, which violates everything we thought he stood for."

OR

2). "Who gives a shit, we just like blowing shit up, murdering people, and fuck you if you can't take a joke."

"Unnamed officials". Sure, I put a lot of faith in that. If you believe they found porn then you have to believe they took his porn but left his strategy journals "because they didn't have time to collect everything". Yeah, OK.

I was answering what I thought was a hypothetical posted by the OP. I've only since seen the news reports.

That said, I don't find it all that hard to believe.

If you believe they found porn then you have to believe they took his porn but left his strategy journals "because they didn't have time to collect everything".

I don't follow your logic. Maybe they took both the porn and the strategy journals. Why wouldn't that be possible? In fact, if they were on electronic media they probably couldn't tell what they were taking.

16. It says they recovered some journals.
They probably had to leave a lot of stuff behind, and in the case of hard drives and thumb drives they probably would have had little idea of what they were grabbing and what they were leaving behind.
