Just a note. Ryan was being interviewed by Candy Crowley. She confronted him about the repukes being attacked at their town halls for his budget and the "medicare" stuff. He quickly said as an aside that he, personally had very good, strong town meetings. Unbelievable. These assholes would slit their mother's throat and tell her they are just giving her a comforting neck massage. They are artists, painting pictures with a brush soaked in lies. (Wonder which branch of his government Hitler would have assigned to Ryan??).

1. To me the most astounding part of that conversation
is that Candy Crowley actually confronted a republican.

5. To be fair, a lot of the Ryan meetings here have been
To be fair, a lot of the Ryan meetings here have been artificially filled with supporters. His staff assigns seating and decides who gets in or doesn't get in. If you even look like you're not a Fox-head, it's "Oh, we're sorry, the fire marshall *just* told us we're at capacity, and you'll have to wait outside."

Which is why, after a meeting where he got standing ovation after standing ovation, he had to duck out a back door and run to a getaway car to avoid the protestors outside. Just because regular folks were kept out in the cold didn't mean we were going anywhere.

10. Rachel and others covered some of Ryan's town meetings.
There were some pretty ticked of constituents in the
clips I saw. It all depends on the meaning of strong, I suupose.

11. That is very true.
It requires a morale component to compute what is strong.

Is it strong to do something or not do something. Some would say they are strong to not be held back by something like laws or caring. Some would say they are strong to not be broken down to not caring about anything.

Strong is like running. It depends what direction you going, and how you use strength.

A strong man could steal, or could help, which one is strong depends what you think is better. There are some that say the ability to steal is a strength, some would say the ability to choose not to steal is a strength.

See the problem.

I know I can power through the dense air, and have many times. And many times not stealing takes much strength, do you know how tempting some of the easier paths to beer and travel money are.

So some would say not being able to do whatever it takes is lack of strength.

People don't understand, I don't accept a world of worse then anarchy, and will not join that world to have anything, not becuase I don't deserve those things, but becuase such a world is not worth it. It is a calculated decision.

Or to make is easier to understand, I wont leave a crappy situation, to go to a worse one and think that is strength, when I can make the situation better with much more strength of knowing that the beer and travel money will be sent becuase it is just and compassionate. The only way I could be wrong, is if existence is not just, and if that is true, why would I be part of any part of that system that a 'deal' or compromise would create. Simply put, without justice and compassion, I am not going to be part of what I think is wrong, and will continue to be the way I always have been.
