3. I thought they had finally run him after his pro-birther outburst
on Tweety. When I didn't see him after the Bin Laden operation I thought he was really gone for good.
Maybe he was in a basement with his ReTHUG cronies trying to come up with new talking points.

12. He's attacking Newt for calling Ryan's plan radical
Poor Joe Scum sees nothing radical about the Ryan plan.
It's so much fun watching them eating one another. Come on ReTHUGS fight live on TV for us.

Buchanan - Newt is trashing the Ryan plan - hammering Ryan as a radical and Newt is giving the left ammo.....

8. Hmmm, I kinda wondered the same thing. After his birther tantrum on Tweety a couple
of weeks ago, I thought surely that this time he screwed the pooch. Amazing how Scum will "rehabilitate" an unregenerate racist...

11. Joe covers it better than Pat, tho. Pat just goes into geezer racist rants.
Joe masks his true self by appearing to be "reasonable" to everyone but us!But he makes sure that Pat will ooze his racist crap...

10. It seems he chose not to be there during a week when the POTUS
was being lauded for getting Osama. Buchanan cannot say anything positive about Mr. Obama or he'll explode.

15. Joey Scar is AMAZED that Newtie said...
Edited on Mon May-16-11 07:18 AM by winstars
that Eddie Munster's plan is RADICAL. "How can he say that"??? The usual suspects around the table don't have an answer for Joey. (Although if Harold Ford was there I am sure he would sell us out in his own swarmy way) Now Newt is the lowest form of scum but maybe he thinks it's radical BECAUSE HE READ THE FUCKING POS JOE!!!!!!

17. You see Joe Scum followed the meme
so he doesn't think the Ryan plan is radical. I think Joe Scum's line was that it was 'mature thinking'.

16. Buchanan focused for years on gay people so he gained many
supporters of all kinds who still support him because they too are homophobes. He ramped up the racism again special for Barack, and now you are all stuck with him, because the years of bigotry against gay people did not strike the straight community as reason to reject him. There is a lesson in that about how a bigot is a bigot.
Is Pat still a fixture on the Rachel program, playing her 'Uncle Pat'? I would not know, because the day she put him on, and called him 'Uncle' was the day I knew Maddow was for sale, willing to betray her community for a paycheck. I have not been back to her show since then. I think of the horrible things Pat said about gay people, mostly about men, and the fact that she smiles, and calls him Uncle just makes me sick. For what? A few hundred thousand?
He is vicious, and the more you learn the more hate you find in him. Hates Jews too. It does not end. Rachel's Uncle Pat. Barf.

18. I haven't seen him on Rachel in ages
but I have to disagree with you - she has a first rate program.

20. What did I say about her program other than 'Pat is on it'?
Nothing. I did not suggest she has a second rate program. She has ethics in terms of promoting bigots that I do not agree with. This man, well, the things he has said about women alone, or about black people, meant I had boycotted him for many years.
I'm not as young as Maddow. I have memory. I fought battles she read about in 'GLBT Studies' class.
Just a quick stroll down Buchanan Blvd:

1992: "integration of blacks and whites -- but even more so, poor and well-to-do -- is less likely to result in accommodation than it is in perpetual friction, as the incapable are placed consciously by government side by side with the capable."
1990: on South Africa, Pat rejects the view that "white rule of a black majority is inherently wrong. Where did we get that idea? The Founding Fathers did not believe this."
1972: on Hitler..""an individual of great courage.... Hitler's success was not based on his extraordinary gifts alone. His genius was an intuitive sense of the mushiness, the character flaws, the weakness masquerading as morality that was in the hearts of the statesmen who stood in his path."
1993: "Our culture is superior. Our culture is superior because our religion is Christianity and that is the truth that makes men free."

1989: "Homosexuality involves sexual acts most men consider not only immoral, but filthy. The reason public men rarely say aloud what most say privately is they are fearful of being branded 'bigots' by an intolerant liberal orthodoxy that holds, against all evidence and experience, that homosexuality is a normal, healthy lifestyle.
1977: "Homosexuality is not a civil right. Its rise almost always is accompanied, as in the Weimar Republic, with a decay of society and a collapse of its basic cinder block, the family."
On Women
1983: "Rail as they will about 'discrimination,' women are simply not endowed by nature with the same measures of single-minded ambition and the will to succeed in the fiercely competitive world of Western capitalism."

I have very strong feelings against Buchanan. The above quotes should explain that fairly well. If he's not on Rachel anymore, I will watch her show. It is not a risk I take lightly.
