It's official: Bill Cunningham, obsessed with Obama's middle name, now getting TV talk show

As Broadcasting & Cable reports, Tribune Broadcasting and ITV Studios America (yes a company owned by the British TV network) are producing a daytime talk show hosted by Bill Cunningham; it'll debut this fall on Tribune-owned stations. Maury executive producer Paul Faulhaber will also be EP here.

According to Wikipedia, Tribune TV stations include WPIX in New York City, KTLA in Los Angeles, WDCW in Washington, DC, and WGN in Chicago. At least I (in the San Francisco Bay Area) don't have a Tribune station according to that list if the Cunningham show is distributed only to Tribune stations.

Cunningham seems to be obsessed with including "Hussein" whenever he talks about Barack Obama, such as on his radio show in August 2009 when he called Obama a "racist, obviously", and in a February 2008 McCain rally where he repeatedly said Obama's full name then called him "a hack, Chicago-style Daley politician who's picturing himself as change" and said: "When he gets done with you, all you're going to have in your pocket is change."

At least a couple of more sane media folks, Katie Couric and Anderson Cooper, are also seeking daytime talk shows.

And what is up with the first name Bill, what is he trying to hide there??

I listen to him on Sunday night while waiting for Coast to Coast to come. He is so freakin' DUMB I am giggling most of the time at his hysteria. I'm talkin so dumb, that he makes Michelle Bachmann sound like Rachel Maddow.

wow i guess you got a lot of free time on weekends, the Coast to Coast show is mostly on right wing stations
