4. I do. There is this guy down on the Plaza in Sonoma.
I ride down there and talk to him every once in a while.

Check him out.

I saw him buying a little teevee at Radio Shack last week,

17. That's weird. One of the comments said
someone saw him buying a tv at a Rite Aid. This guy might hoard TVs or something.

18. The one I saw him buy was a tiny flat-screen.
Maybe he is planning on taking it along with him.

He is quite a character. I may go do an interview with him on Friday.

But I doubt I could figure out how to post it.

21. This is from the Boston Herald. Forgive me - I'm not very tech savy
E-mail Print (3) Comments Text size Share CBS Outdoor and Clear Channel are cashing in on the disturbing end-of-the-world ad campaign in the Bay State as dozens of expensive local billboards are plastered with a doom and gloom “Judgment Day” May 21 message.

Michael Garcia, who is heading the billboard blitz for Family Radio, a California-based Christian network, said the ads are emblazoned on 50 Clear Channel properties in the Boston market and on another half-dozen CBS Outdoor-owned billboards.

30. In some parts of the country they have billboards
and signs on the sides of trucks and what not. God has obviously opted for a regional marketing strategy for the end of the world.

29. My they came with the answer
McCann says he’s convinced that on Saturday, a cataclysmic earthquake will strike New Zealand at about 6 p.m. local time—marking “the shutting of the door to heaven,” he warns—and begin a slow, destructive roll through the world’s time zones, hitting Philadelphia at 6 p.m. our time. “You’ll be able to see it coming, but there won’t be anything you can do about it,” McCann says.

I have been pestering the locals... I guess doing math and time zones and carrying the day became too much of a bother.

I should be pool side when six in the afternoon rolls by....

22. True. 99% of all evangelicals think Harold Camping is completely nuts.
Edited on Wed May-18-11 09:04 PM by Kievan Rus
Family Radio is but a very small subset of the evangelical community. Most evangelicals writing about his 5/21/2011 prediction are going on about how baseless it is, about how much it runs contrary to every known intepretation of the Bible, and comparisons between him and other failed prophets who made predictions like his, like Edgar Whisenant in 1988 and the Millerites in the 19th century.
