1. Done but I thought the question choices were strange.
Both the Yes and No had very loaded responses.

4. I agree, very odd, the question was worded as if to encourage the response they wanted...
My question has always been what part of health care reform don't you understand?! :banghead:

Done! Voted no.:hi:

8. Ageist! What makes you think because someone has medicare
they are against it???? I have Medicare and certainly am not against healthcare for all, and I'm not the only one. We need to do a lot of work.

11. Don't ageist me. I'm old, too.
Not quite to the age of Medicare . . . unfortunately.

12. ...so you think calling elders geezers is not ageist?
Being something does not make you immune from being an ageist. Anyone can be a racist, anyone can be a sexist...and so on and so on. Calling people geezers is not kind and not appreciated.

One issue about Medicare people don't seem to get is we are only able to get help for one modality of health care. It does not apply to homeopathy, naturopathy, acupuncture and many other health care systems. IOW it still only supports big box medicine...big pharma.

14. It's a shame you've lost your sense of humor.
Using "geezers" isn't derogatory. I call myself a geezer at least once a day. Lighten up. Remember all the events protesting healthcare reform and how it appeared the majority of protesters were of Medicare age? How about the infamous "keep government away from my Medicare" signs? Having lived in the area of that poll at one point and knowing the population, it would appear to be a whole lot of old people on Medicare with an "I've got mine to hell with you" mentality. Trust me. I call those self-centered folks a whole lot worse than geezer.

9. done.
What do you think?

Should the new Republican leadership in the House work at repealing health care reform?

50% (377 responses) Yes, yes, a thousand times yes. This was shoved down the throats of the American public, and it is a disaster. This is why Republicans were elected – to get rid of this garbage.

50% (383 responses) No. Absolutely not. Millions of Americans who didn't have proper medical coverage will now have it. Why is that so distasteful to Republicans? If Obama was in favor of sunshine, Republicans would be opposed. What clowns.

13. Done....but I noticed it's yes 68% no 32%
FWIW, I wanted to see if there was a change in the numbers, so I went back to see, saw I couldn't see unless I voted, so I voted again. The first time the difference was only a couple of points. Now it's much more...
