Treason from within...
“A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear. The traitor is the plague.” - Cicero

1. Nice quotation from Cicero. Did you have someone in mind?
This is not a ancient civilizations class, you know. We discuss current topics here.

9. What's wrong with asking for context?
"Did you have someone in mind?" is in the subject line. Did you miss that, or were you looking for a reason to pounce and insult?

10. It's all in how the question gets asked.
Look at the context of the question and the sentences that framed it. There is a hauteur, or impatience -- aside from the Royal We -- don't you think?

(Cheez-itz, I feel like this is Rhetoric 203 all over again. And, I hated that class!)

Oh, well. I brought it up. My apologies about the sock in the nose, and all that.
