Starts 6pm local time; on May 21st for the west coast of the Americas, and then moves west. So when it crosses the International Date Line, it will be in May 22nd, and relatively few areas will have has their Scheduled Rapture. Unfortunately, mankind set the IDL at the wrong longitude to keep it neat. Of course, if God had directed the writers of the Bible to make it clear the earth is a globe (and told us where to stick the line), rather than the flat surface they hint at, the confusion would have been avoided. But it seems God was too busy inserting numerical clues to the Day of Judgement to bother with things like the basic shape of the earth.
