Governor Mitch Daniels hit in head with door, gets 16 stitches

Indianapolis— Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels (R) suffered an injury to his forehead Friday, after finishing at workout at the National Institute for Fitness and Sport (NIFS) in Indianapolis. The governor was standing near a door, when it swung open and hit Daniels in the forehead. He had to get 16 stitches.

Govenor Daniels was treated and released from Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. He is recovering at home.

4. My Mama taught me to come in from the rain, to not touch hot stoves, and to stay back from doors...
Can't imagine Gov. Daniels' mother didn't teach him the same things. But I guess anyone can forget the lessons they learned at Mama's knee. Especially if they grow up to be a 21st Century Republican, which automatically means they forgot most of what they learned about caring and sharing.
