An amusing irony about the right wing and the drug war..
Right wingers believe that private enterprise is efficient and capable while government is inefficient and incapable.

Right wingers also tend to be anti-drug (hippie punching).

And yet the right wing puts private enterprise in charge of the drug trade and government in charge of combating that drug trade they claim to hate so much.

I've read his stuff, too.......
My favourite is the long and winding shaggy dog tale about the court of flowers.....fun stuff.

And the God is an iron thing is too accurate.

3. Sadly, both parties are complicit in this bullshit "war on drugs"
In fact, our right-wing /libertarian former Governor, Gary Johnson, (and other far right loonies in the repub party here) spoke out strongly against the "drug war", and when they did, much of the state Democratic establishment fell all over themselves to denounce Johnson for it. Your point is well taken regarding right wingers who hypocritically support the drug war, but just pointing out how bi-partisan the stupidity and hypocrisy is when it comes to this subject.
