How Toxic Is Paul Ryan?
How toxic is Paul Ryan? I think he has just poisoned many of the republican held house seats. I think the Democrats are going to take back the house in numbers just as impressive as how many recently went red. Of course, I am an optimist but it is highly possible. Good reading here:

1. Very toxic, I think, and I too think there's a good chance we'll regain House,
but VERY concerned about games those in States playing re: voter eligibility (etc.) Dems MUST be diligent and challenge these, unlike failure re: 'selection' of gwb.

2. I heart Paul Ryan
He's the best thing to happen to Democrats in years. He and his evil twin Walker are a perfect example of what happens when you over reach.

The GOP will wear the antics of Paul Ryan around their necks like stones. It will sink them.

3. I hope so, and expect it, but Dems must be vigilant + take advantage
of their un-American overreach.

12. Could Ryan be a Black-Ops plant in the Republicon Cabal O' Cronies?
Edited on Sun May-22-11 06:51 AM by SpiralHawk
You know, like Michael Steele with his brilliant demolishment of the RNC finances.

Steeley Mike did for the RNC, what George AWOL Bush and Dickie 'Five_Military-Deferments' Cheney did for America's economic, um, well being.

Now Ryan's idiotic Republicon budget plans are shedding A BRIGHT LIGHT on the depraved, perverted, debased Republicon, um, 'ideas' about how THINGS should be in their lusted-after 'Republicon Homeland.' No American wants that kinda crappy nation. I mean, hello?

6. They are protecting themselves by limiting our ability to vote.
Which really should be a capital crime.

10. Can you believe, he is often mentioned as Candidate for Pres.
at Fox if Mitch Daniels does not run. Well Daniels
is not running--let us see if they are serious.

13. The best part is the crazies are torpedoing anyone who stands against him
Just take a look at what happened with Newt. Until a week ago, Newt was considered a sacred cow in the GOP. Despite all his baggage (and that he lost to Clinton in the government shutdown standoffs in the 90s--except to the crazies who think it was a victory), he was one of the GOP untouchables. Now he is groveling to try to win them back.

The Ryan plan to turn Medicare into a voucher system is turning off both seniors and moderates. As long as Ryan is the standard bearer for the GOP, they're going to nominate a nutjob for 2012.

14. Krugman is right
Paul Ryan is a charlatan and a crank whose brand of "crank economics" is turning the U.S.
into a banana republic.
