they are religious fanatics… which to me at this point is almost like being brain damaged. Camping will just come out with another date, just like he did back in 1994, when he predicted BACK THEN that 1994 would be the end of the world.

6. There will be a series of rationalizations and comments like god works in
mysterious ways. The fact that some believe this to begin with clues me in that a lot of their perception is based on delusional thinking.

IMO Camping will just shape and redirect their thinking toward the next delusion.

I find it quite sad that people are that pliable and have blind faith rather than deductive reasoning based on verifiable evidence.

8. I sympathize with them, much as I would sympathize with a mentally ill person
who was conned by someone who exploited their delusions.

I also think that Rev. Camping should be held criminally and civilly liable for the losses these people suffered.

9. It's time to recognize this for what it is.
Radio and television evangelists who defraud other ignorant and unfortunate human beings are committing crimes. This 89 year old son of a bitch should be sued and prosecuted for fraud. These evangelist freaks are preying on people when they are most vulnerable.
