Hey Freepers....this should really piss you off...
IRS extends filing deadline for taxes to April 18


April 15 is Emancipation Day, a holiday observed in the District of Columbia. Taxpayers who file extensions will have until October 17, 2011, to file their 2010 tax returns.

1. For those of you playing at home ...
Emancipation Day is marked in DC on April 16, but that day is a Saturday, so it falls back to Friday the 15th.
