I read something where one of them said no aid without drastic cuts.

5. Okay, drastic cuts in the Pentagon.
That should alleviate quite a few natural disasters right there, and avert one big one in their building ;)

Notwithstanding the political rancor of the last several years, Americans are committed to helping their neighbors when those neighbors get whacked by a natural event. Pushing back on such aid is likely to brand any pol who does so as "un-American."

6. Probably soon, very soon. And also the insurance companies will start whining soon that
they can't cover the costs. I'm not surprised by anything anymore in USA, Inc. profit at any cost and F the people and anything they want. Anyway, isn't this disaster relief full fledged socialism.
