Did anyone else hear John Heilman on Morning Joe today?

I was yelling YES! at the tv screen when he said what I was thinking about Joe Scum's rant yesterday about "entitlement spending." Heilman pointed out that what a lot of Republicans are doing when they say they only want to control spending is in fact their political ideology about the role of government. He said it very clearly and concisely, but it was clearly a rebuttal to Joe's rant yesterday and exactly what I and lots of DUers think about these self serving rants.

Joe was pretty much silent during Heilman's reasoned argument. I don't think this is the end of the "chocolate cake and fatty steaks" controversy. There's gonna be pushback...and it has been started by John Heilman...

seem to be legitimate. He was way over the top, even for him and seemed to want to be talked about. Again, my opinion.

I've had it up to here with repubs who say essentially what Scum said, maybe just not as blatantly. And Joe's been on this hobby horse for a long time. I think Heilman had just "had it" with this argument and laid it out for Joe...

He's such a fucking tool.
