The baggers, trolls and righties are in a complete meltdown over
the speech the President gave to Parliament today. They cannot stand that he is so admired (remember, raygun was NOT invited to do such a thing). Another site I frequent is just full of vitriol, etc. Their only comeback, and this is laughable, the President's mixup about the toast with the Queen. Going on and on about the NuttinYahoo getting 29 standing ovations and POTUS getting only one. They are really nasty today, more so than usual..

1. They are trying real hard to gin up something about his
speech in which he said the starting point to negotiations over mideast peace should be the 67 borders. They keep saying the Israeli prime minister embarassed him but I don't see it.

The Bin laden thing got them in the gut and they haven't been able to recover ever since.

2. If they hear about it ...
When Obama spoke in Ireland, there was a massive crowd.

CNN and MSNBC showed it in it's entirety live. Fox, not so much. And by that, I mean not at all. So if an event occurs and Fox doesn't report it, did it happen?

3. Gasp! They're criticizing the President when he's out of the country? During wartime?
I remember when that was the Unforgivable Mortal Sin. I guess the principle doesn't hold anymore for them; I wonder what could possibly be different today than it was back in the early Aughts when they got their underwear in such a bunch whenever someone criticized the President when he was out of the country? Hmmm.

4. ..."the President's mixup about the toast with the Queen."
Well, at least he didn't vomit all over her like some presidents...

...or grab her for some unknown reason...

7. The band fucked up.
He was giving a toast and the band started playing "God save the Queen" while he was still speaking. He continued to speak and then toasted the Queen. She didn't toast back and waited until the music stopped and then lifted her glass. It was awkward, but not his fault.

9. The Brits have it in for him...
That was probably on purpose. They seem to go out of their way to try to humiliate him. After the wedding snub he shouldn't have even gone on this trip, seriously.
