Progressive Businesses?
It seems that all I ever hear of are the big business that are doing harm, the small ones that are getting killed off, and the few that play fair and barely manage to stay afloat. What I don't hear about are ones break the mold, that are innovative and growing and actually doing good by their customers, employees, the economy, environment and society as a whole. I am under no illusion that those would be anything but rare but there must be *some* out there.

So I ask you: what are they, where are they, and how can we support them?

1. In fact ... I am a progressive business owner ...
I don't want to shamelessly plug my business, but you can send me a message if you want to know more.

2. I would...
But I don't have enough posts to let me send PMs yet. I'd love to hear about it if you want to send me one. Though I don't see why there should be any shame in sharing it here, we should all support each other.

4. I just don't want to be perceived as spamming the DU board ...
My business is a remote backup service. I am different than the two over-advertised nationally-known services in that I have been doing it longer than them and I provide personal support.

My services start @ $4.50/month for 500Mb/month data backup storage, and I offer a referral program that can pay as much as 25% of sales.

3. Kick for the evening crowd.
I'd really like to see someone doing it right. Some proof that it can be.
