Attorney General Reportedly Launching Inquiry Into Schwarzenegger

I tried to post this last night but unfortunately it was locked because I said Schwarzenegger was a sl*t. My apologies if that offended anyone. The lock chastised me saying I was in the wrong to call any woman a sl*t. Which, unless Schwarzenegger has had a sex change, I did not do.

So, to rephrase:
Schwarzenegger is a sleazeball cheater who slept with many woman behind his wife's back and used public money (possibly) to cover it up. I am sorry if I confused people into thinking he was a woman.

2. What a waste of time and money

I cannot imagine how anything useful would come out of such an inquiry, or any subsequent criminal charges. Arnie is a rich man and doesn't need anyone else's money to try to cover up whatever personal matters he wants to try to cover up.

Other than accountants of politicians being more careful in the future about their book-keeping related to mistresses, there is no public benefit that can arise from this, as with the useless prosecution of John Edwards.

That would be useful, eh? We could audit every bit of food eaten by the child since Arnie's been in office to see if Arnie might have plausibly used taxpayer money to pay for some of the kid's cereal.

That would sure advance the cause of, ah, what exactly?

Seriously, do you really think that whatever incidental expenditures might have been consumed by the child while he was governor would not be dwarfed by the cost of the grand inquiry needed to identify such expenditures?

Bah!

And the law is about more than one individual. Sure Arnie is unlikely to repeat his stupidity without penalty. This is about accountability. And given the Citizens United anything goes environment, it is crucial.

6. It's about perspective

Of all the myriad and obvious ways in which U.S taxpayer monies are used illegally in war and peace these days, I really don't think it's a priority to investigate how much taxpayer-funded cereal may have been eaten by Arnies' illegitimate child.
