Laura Ingraham to suspended Ed Schultz - I accept your apology
Edited on Thu May-26-11 02:32 PM by RamboLiberal
Laura Ingraham is taking the high road and accepting Ed Schultz's apology for calling her a "slut."

"Ed Schultz: Apology accepted," the conservative pundit tweeted on Thursday.

She addressed the issue again on her radio show even though "she didn't really want to discuss it."

-----

"Stuff is always said about me," she said. "…I thought so little about it, I didn't even mention it yesterday."

She also tweeted on his suspension "Oh great now his ratings will go up."

1. The "professional left" has one strength.
attacking their own.

Ingraham and her filth say horrible things every day for the past 25 years. They don't get suspensions, they get promotions. A liberal says one thing,
and gets suspended. The double standard is quite angering.

6. If you can somehow prove that Ed was reading a scripted comedy routine
then you have a point. Otherwise, you are epic fail.

(AP) Tom Brokaw, Peter Jennings, Dan Rather ... and Jon Stewart?

Readers over 30 might scoff at Stewart's inclusion - assuming they know who he is. For many under 30, the host of Comedy Central's "The Daily Show" is, improbably, a source for news.

A poll released earlier this year by the Pew Research Center for the People and the Press found that 21 percent of people aged 18 to 29 cited "The Daily Show" and "Saturday Night Live" as a place where they regularly learned presidential campaign news.

By contrast, 23 percent of the young people mentioned ABC, CBS or NBC's nightly news broadcasts as a source.

But without the studio audience.

31. Things have changed
I remember Chevy Chase and Richard Pryor doing a bit on SNL that involved a psychiatrist trying to free-associate, that had Chevy using the n-word. I can't imagine that going on today.

26. I hate anything that gives that wretched woman an opportunity
to look like an aggrieved party.

However, a suspension was overkill. The apology should have done it.

A right winger who says things like that just goes on his merry way without an apology or suspension. Look at Limbag and Beck, both of whom have called Democratic women whores.

referring to Al Gore and John Edwards as faggots? I thought that was disgusting as hell.

While I'm not approving of what Ed called Laura, I don't remember the Coultergeist ever apologizing for using a highly inflammatory, insulting word.
