Ex-Clinton aide storms off Fox News set during Medicare debate
Source: RawReplay
By David Edwards

Simon Rosenberg, a former advisor to President Bill Clinton, decided Thursday that he wasn’t going to be pushed around by conservative radio host Ben Ferguson during a discussion about Medicare on Fox News.

Fox News’ Shannon Bream had invited Rosenberg to respond to video published by ABC News that showed Clinton telling Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) that he hoped Democrats wouldn’t use a Democratic congressional win in New York as “an excuse to do nothing” on reforming Medicare.

“Does that hurt the current administration’s efforts and what Democrats in the White House are trying to do, with President Clinton suggesting maybe they do stop the fear mongering and get to work?” Bream asked.

“I don’t think that anything that’s happened in the last few months is fear mongering,” Rosenberg replied.

1. Mistake: appearing on Fox at all; that's always what happens.

2. "Fear mongering?"
From the party that brought us "Death Panels?"

Throwing grandma off a cliff is "fear mongering" but saying over and over that Obama will decide whether she lives or dies isn't "fear mongering?"

F*CK the GOP!!! :grr:

4. If by a far fetched notion that Obama were to lose in '12, I wonder
if Bubba would feel sad. I doubt it. He's still not over Hillary's loss.

5. Isn't it obvious? Right after Obama makes history in England and is adored in Ireland, this happens.

There's a DKos diary called "Memo to Bubba: STFU": http://www.dailykos.com/story/2011/05/25/979272/-Memo-to-Bill-Clinton:STFU?via=siderec
that says it all. It was highly recommended, unlike the radio silence here, which speaks volumes to any Obama supporter.

You're right. Couldn't have said it better.

6. I saw that side of Hillary at the 2004 Democratic convention when Kerry was speaking.
She & Chelsea were sitting in the front row of the balcony with glasses of champagne, & Hillary had a look of contempt on her face watching the speech.

Now that the chummy Clinton/Ryan clip is making news, it could give Obama all the more resolve to stand firm on not weakening Medicare. The people have made it clear that they'll stand behind Obama.

8. I've never been as enthusiastic about him since he got chummy with him at a
time when it seemed like a slap in the face to everyone who were protesting against the son's crimes.
