Lawrence O’Donnell offers to moderate debate between Bachmann and tenth grader

On Friday’s “The Last Word”, Lawrence O’Donnell hosted 16-year-old Amy Myers, then tenth grader who has challenged Minnesota Congresswoman Michele Bachmann to a debate on the topics of American history, Civics, and the U.S. Constitution. O’Donnell offered to moderate the match-up, should it ever happen.

2. Amy Myers certainly was poised during her appearance.

Frankly there are people twice her age, and older, who wouldn't have handled an interview as well, especially on TV.

As for the debate, well, as Lawrence put it, he wouldn't accept her challenge, as he figures all the minutiae of AP American history would be fresh in her mind.
