Hopefully this human filth will live the rest of his life in and die in prison
Edited on Sun May-29-11 03:25 PM by RB TexLa
Any doctor stealing our tax dollars deserves at least 50 years in hard labor. If some of them can't serve the whole 50, they can serve every second they can.

HONOLULU — A psychiatrist arrested in Argentina on charges of falsely billing $1 million in health insurance claims in Hawaii was involved in similar fraud some 30 years ago in Colorado, according to documents obtained Wednesday.

Dr. Carlos Warter was arrested in Argentina on Monday and is expected to be extradited to Honolulu. A federal grand jury indictment accuses the psychiatrist of knowingly sending about $1 million in inflated bills to Medicaid, the Hawaii Medical Service Association and TRICARE, a federally funded program that provides care to military personnel.

“The conviction was based on your stipulation that you overcharged the state of Colorado, through the Medicaid system, in the sum of $44,500,” the 2009 notice said.

1. Extradition from Argentina will cost a bundle.

But it will be money well spent IMO.

3. These are the kind of things
That need to be addressed instead of trying to "kill" medicare completely like the republicans want to do! Go after the abuse, those who send in false claims, not after the elderly who can't afford the "voucher" plan in the Ryan bill!

4. When Repubs talk about Medicare fraud, isn't that almost always
doctors? They are the ones that bill Medicare (don't know much about medicaid).
So why are the Repubs not going after doctors since they are the perps?

5. Maybe he can share a cell with the doctor who refused to do an abortion to save a woman's life.
Oh wait. That doctor is in Kansas. Never mind.
