TV ad: Advance America (payday loan) is where teachers should go for money for school supplies

It just aired as the lead ad into my local teevee newscast at www.wxyz.com.

I'm wondering if Advance America has any upcoming ads featuring banksters or CEOs.

Only one view so far.

I also have concerned about these Income Tax places that end up taking a large chuck of change to expedite your refunds.

I am sure there are some dire situations where these places are useful but in general they are nothing more than a scam to make easy money off of the people that can barely afford to waste a penny. And these places are segregated towards low-income areas. I see them everywhere here in the city but as you drive further out of the city these places are few and far-between.

If we can't get rid of them the we need to better regulate them so folks understand just how much money they will lose if they go with these services.

I especially hate these 'fast refund' places that will give a 'loan' out on your tax refund. I mean this money is a sure thing for the tax places but they push the greed so they can make out on bandits. Do these people who use these services know that they could get their refunds back in 10 days and keep all of it? It's a real shame.
