I lost three Marines
Memorial day is difficult for me. What I hate most is when people act like it's about me. I survived. It's not.

I lost three Marines in the course of my tours and it's about them,

I'm not after forgiveness yet. The past tells me that's for 30 years from now when my addictions have shut down my body. To everything there is a season.

People die in war for all sorts of reasons, from the mundane to the epic. I'll let history judge the ones I got killed, except to say they were better men and women than me.

Anyways, I just wanted to honor Chad, and Jose, and Katherine. Good Marines all.
