19. For the OP to actually answer my query would be very uncharacteristic of them
and I'm sure most here know what I mean by that.

Anyone who has been paying attention knows the OP's "style" with threads like this.

3. Yes, inmates should be allowed to view prison porn on MSNBC just like anyone else.
Though why anyone would want to ...

4. violent criminals? sex offenders? pot smokers?

I can't just say "inmate" and give a one size fits all answer.

I think maybe it could be something along the lines of a reward for trustees, so long as they were not convicted of a violent crime or a sex offense.

Inmates should have to choose between one or the other.

6. Gotta say... a life sentence could translate to one helluva D&D campaign
"Prisoner" is pretty much an ideal occupation for the aspiring DM.

10. I learned for the first time by watching the MSNBC shows, inmates are not
allowed to masturbate. It seems to me that sex is such an innate drive, that to not allow normal expression of this drive is cruel and unusual punishment. I don't see what harm the prisoners do, in their own cell, if they masturbate. I guess I just don't get prison rules entirely.

14. Well, look, I know I probably sound ridiculous, and I don't mean to offend
any delicate sensibilities out there either, but really...expecting a guy serving a lifetime prison sentence to never masturbate even one time? It just doesn't seem realistic and I think it is something that goes against basic human needs. I'm sorry, I just feel that sex is a need. You won't die from not having it, but it is still a basic drive and need humans have.

Just sayin'.
