We already know something about the large numbers of psychgpaths in corporations and government.
Here's something few of us have heard anything about: Our military is teeming
with them, too.

Eisenhower's warning "Beware the Military/Industrial Complex" of half a century ago
is now our reality -- we are and have been living in it for some time. How do we
get out of this mess?

1. No surprise there
psychopaths are attracted to all power careers. And the military has the stiffest structure of all. No one allowed to talk back with the draconian rules they have.

2. I fear that it has become (or has always been) even more insidious than that
You are correct in your assessment re: psychopaths & power-careers, as well as the "draconian rules" that they create and enforce. The broader problem may be that, in the context of the business world, non-psychopaths are eagerly emulating the tactics of psychopaths, too.

4. Like every other disorder, there are those who have it to a mild degree,
and those who have it full blast. It's highly unlikely for those
who have it to a mild degree to become the top representatives
of that disorder, though.

live with it for the rest of one's adult life, but being a
psychopath in addition, is something entirely different. It
seems that there are more psychopaths in the military today than,
say, during Einsenhower's time.

The same could be said for corporations and government, of course.

6. And the vast majority of military officers work for the Republican Party
after they retire from their service. There are a few excetptions.
So corporatists and military officers work well together at
squeezing money out of the tax-payers, with the help of
politicians in high positions.
