Last post re: Weiner. He already DENIED it was him!!!

He said on day one that he was HACKED! Why does he have to keep answering the same questions? I don't blame him for being short with the stupid reporters. You can only say "I was hacked" so many times before someone claims you're protesting too much.

They'll keep the crap alive as long as they can - run it into the ground until the corprats who own the media(loids) squeeze the last dime from the story. The corprat-owned media cares about profits, not truth or accuracy- or even actual news.

I think it's a giggle that some people insist that Rep. Weiner has not reported this -- as if they know if he has or not.

it is a glaring problem here, so much so that his good friend Jon Stewart was equivocal about defending him last night.

His "answer" to the question about whether or not he had sent that photo elicited the response that if someone threw a pie he would not spend two hours discussing it.

Yet he spent an awful lot of time dodging the question when all it required was a simple yes or no answer.

Like the producer whom he called a "jackass" said...it's not about the salacious details. It's about using time consuming, rambling, evasive non-answers when a simple answer would have sufficed.

I'll tell you what...if someone used MY account to do something potentially harassing to another person, I would be PISSED at that person. Not the people who asked me whether or not I was the one who did it, expecting an honest answer.

around the dinner-table, no one would say they interpret "could you pass the salt?" as a yes or no question (and not as a request) unless they had an agenda to not pass the salt (or some sort of linguistic deficiency).

But I just saw him (on CNN) being questioned by people who asked him straight out, "Did YOU send that photo?"

OK, maybe it's just me. But in my world, if a person didn't do something, the logical answer to that sort of question is "NO".

What's so hard about that? The more he avoids answering the question directly, the more he's going to be hounded. As well he should be.

As well anyone should be, Republican or Democrat.


This sort of thing, done by a Republican, would elicit cries of outrage here. Not against the press or the media, mind you...but against the person who would refuse to answer a simple question with a simple answer. Yes. Or. No.

If he just states that he did not send the picture, and that the picture is not of him, and he calls the police to investigate the hack, then it's case closed as far as I am concerned, unless something else comes up. But at this point it's hard to defend him when he won't even call the police.

I mean not if he was sending it unsolicited to people BUT HE DIDN'T. What is a possibility is that it was a private photo that was found by buttinski Patriot76 when he broke into his account -- then Patriot USA went snarling around looking for someone for "AW to send it to" having hacked his facebook.

If that's the case, it's PATRIOT76 guy who was harassing people with the picture! And I don't find the pic that out there, personally.
