Has anyone noticed that the MSM is making a huge deal out of the "New 112th Congress" Thing?

Every cable network -- even c-span -- has sent out reporters to "cover" the events and interview the various "players".

I don't remember anything even CLOSE to this when the Dems took the House in '08.

I even saw MSNBC interview Boner's brother this morning, asking him aobut his brother and what he was like as a kid growing up, etc. I don't remember ANY of that done for the Dems!!!

The coverage today is WAY beyond a mere "swearing in".

I took the day to watch... they did.

The speech with the grandkids was particularly touching and the Minority Leader was critical of that.

Of course, I'm wondering why they were watching all day if the transition wasn't being covered.
